ORONO ANTIQUE MARKET

Tree Top Trekking – Ganaraska Park

This park is a true escape from the city!  Treetop Trekking Ganaraska is the most exciting zip line adventure East of Toronto and is home to Timberwolf – the most challenging aerial course at any park in Ontario, but don’t worry there are plenty of easier courses too!  Located at the Ganaraska Forest Centre come spend an unforgettable day in their huge aerial game and zipline park and they also have Night Treks. Our intentionally small herd of huacayas allows us the time to give individual attention to each one of the alpacas and focus on animal health, breeding and sharing the joy of alpacas. TEA GRANNYS & FRIENDS

Brimacombe Ski Hill

One of Southern Ontario’s largest ski and snowboard facilities, Brimacombe has something for everyone in both winter and summer months!  From beginner terrain to black diamonds, you’ll have fun on 21 runs, 11 lifts, two terrain parks and two chalets spread over 60 skiable acres.  In the summer, sign the kids up for a weekly theme at Day Camp Brimacombe. Ganaraska Forest Centre

With hundreds of kilometres of hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and even horseback riding trails right in our backyard, it is little wonder that the Ganaraska Forest Centre is a hub of outdoor recreational activity four seasons round.  Set within 4,452 hectares (11,000 acres) of the majestic Ganaraska Forest, the facility is a showcase of world-class environmental and ecologically friendly design. Village of Orono

Founded in 1832, Orono has become an antiquing Mecca with over 82 antique stores in the downtown core.  It is the locale for some of the most enjoyable and popular yearly events in Clarington:  The Orono Fair, Orono Bluegrass and Old Tyme Country Jamboree, and the Ontario Country Kennel Club Dog Show.  The closest liquor store!
