Using the combination of art expression and meditation can help alleviate stress and anxiety, improve mood, gain personal insight, and find a meaningful creative outlet. The group can offer collective wisdom and insight.

In this workshop, you begin with a therapeutic art warm-up, drawing the energy you are bringing into the session. Following this, you will listen to a short meditation of a healing sanctuary and explore and express through drawing what it reveals to you.  An integration/discussion will follow with time for tea.  Choice of oil pastel and water-colour will be offered depending on what you want to express.  No artistic background needed!

  • Fee: $60 (includes HST) – materials and tea included

More about Nicole:

Nicole has been a Registered Psychotherapist and Art Therapist in the field since 2011.  She has a background in strength-based and client-centered approaches.  Her most recent approaches include holistic ancient tools of breathwork, meditation, movement, art, and creativity to enliven/ignite empowerment and autonomy that already exists inside her clients.  Nicole has both a background in art, studying Fine Arts – Visual Arts in University BFA, and trained as an Art Therapist in a Graduate Master Level program.
