SUMMER ONLY

Labyrinth – Inspired by the labyrinth at Shanti Retreat on Wolfe Island, take a few minutes of stillness, to reflect, and to walk the path inward.  According to Shanti, “This is not a maze but a choice whether to enter or not, whether or not to walk a spiritual path. A labyrinth is a right brain task. It involves intuition, creativity, and imagery.”  “At its most basic level, a labyrinth is a metaphor for the journey to the center of your deepest self and back out into the world with a broadened understanding of who you are.” Source: http://www.lessons4living.com/labyrinth.htm

Teepee – Spend time to privately and mindfully meditate and collect your thoughts under the traditional Native Teepee standing eight feet tall beside the Ganaraska River on the West Side of the property.

Hammocks – Choose your favourite hammock and hang out.  Enjoy your favourite book or grab one from our library, gaze at the Cedar Forest or Ganaraska River or simply sleep!

Bicycles – Cycle the backroads on one of our bikes, a short 2.6 distance to the entrance of the Ganaraska Forest.  Take your lunch and bask in the majestic trees and numerous trails.
